DURAFLAT stores and ships flat, then can be easily assembled using standard hand tools. Sections are joined together by sleeving chutes inside one another and connecting with zinc-plated chains (included).

With the use of the DURACONVERTER, optional accessories (hangers, hoppers, winches, etc.) from our DURACHUTE line can be used in conjunction with the DURAFLAT sections.

Continuing Education  

CHUTES International is proud to offer architects a free, AIA certified, continuing education course. This course will focus on the basic foundations and designs pertaining to trash, recycle and linen chutes. We will also cover requirements for shafts, discharge rooms and venting. Trash, recycling, and linen chutes must be designed, installed, and maintained to meet the 2019 NFPA 82 standards. This course addresses these requirements in detail and includes discussions on sound dampening, electric interlock doors systems as well as compactors and sorters.
