Our sustainable ECOplus recycled sheets are made using a proportion of biocircular raw material. This means that part of the material that normally comes from fossil sources is replaced with renewable materials. As a result, our ECOplus sheets have a very low carbon footprint. Up to 89 per cent of the total material content consists of sustainable material. This is monitored by ISCC PLUS (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification).

The multiwall sheet for daylight in a new dimension
Daylight can improve our mental functions by 10% to 25%. The special Hybrid-X-geometry of multiwall polycarbonate roofing sheets enables light transmission of up to 45%. These multiwall sheets minimize light disjunction, while offering diffuse, natural, and comfortable light. The usage of natural light enables an enormous energy saving potential. This is especially an advantage when applying the multiwall polycarbonate sheets in industrial buildings.

Impressive climate conditions with multiwall polycarbonate sheet Exolon® multi UV HX 
From a climatic insulation point of view, conventional daylight-systems can be a weak point in the envelope of a building. But this does not apply for multiwall polycarbonate sheet Hybrid-X with its excellent climatic insulation characteristics. The innovative geometry of the multiwall roofing sheets enables a heat transfer coefficient (Ug) of up to 0.85 W/m²K (depending on sheet thickness) and therefore enables energy savings of more than 30% when compared to standard polycarbonate sheets.

Exolon® GP ECO is a sheet that contains at least 40% reclaimed material out of our own production.

Exolon® UV. Outstanding through reinforced UV protection. The UV coating is applied to the surface of the smooth or textured polycarbonate sheets. This protection increases resistance to long-term weathering effects and thus provides a long service life. There is no yellowing, no change of color - the sheets retain their shine. All the sheets can easily be thermoformed or cold-bent; they are easy to process and can be printed. 

Exolon® UV LF (Low Flammability) with UV protection on both sides, meets the requirements of EN 13501-1, B-s2-d0 with a sheet thickness of 8 mm.

Ample illumination at pleasant temperatures with ClimateControl solid polycarbonate sheets. For architects, designers and developers, transparency is the top priority in many projects and buildings. This also applies to roofing. However, direct sunlight creates (unpleasant) heat. To significantly reduce the accumulation of heat in rooms with transparent roofing, the material used has to be able to repel as much infrared light as possible. Exolon® UV ClimateControl solid sheets block much of the infrared light and go a long way to lowering temperatures raised by incoming sunlight.

Exolon® UV ClimateControl is available in thicknesses of 2-12 mm and in different colours.

Exolon® UV patterned sheets are clear transparent polycarbonate sheets with UV protection on both sides, and a patterned surface. They offer extreme impact strength that exceeds the physical properties of other products of their class. Exolon® sheets resist temperatures of -100 to +120 °C.

Applications:
Typical applications for Exolon® UV patterned sheets include lighting fixtures, luminair covers, balcony guards, wall and door partitions. The sheets offer protection against involuntary breakage and wilfull destruction. The patterned surfaces offer a solution wherever sight screens are required to let in light.

Exolon® AR offers a range of sheets with a non-scratch and chemical-resistant surface. The coating on both sides of Exolon® AR 8099 increases the durability, improves UV stability and minimizes clouding and yellowing. The extremely resistant polycarbonate sheets offer glass-like hardness in combination with the typical impact strength of polycarbonate. Exolon® AR 7099 is a one sided hardcoated sheet which can be used for lamination and printing on the uncoated side. Exolon® AR sheets cannot be cold-bent.

Exolon® AR 5 is a one or two sided hardcoated sheet with 5 years warranty against delamination and weathering which can be used for interior separation walls or flat glazing systems.

Exolon® AR FO is a formable hardcoated sheet. It can be cold bent or drape formed into 2D shapes, vacuum and pressure formed into more complex shapes with moderate radii.

The Exolon® FR solid sheet, which has been tested for its fire-resistant properties, is used wherever the use of flame retardant materials is required, for example, in public transport vehicles or in the production of electrical appliances. If, for example, a fire source develops as a result of a short circuit, this can spread quickly. Exolon® FR can significantly reduce the spread of flames compared to other transparent, thermoplastic materials.

Exolon® FR is UL94-V0 rated as of 2 mm thickness, and complies with EN 45545-2 (European fire standard for rail applications) requirements R4, R22, R23 and R24.

Exolon® FR-C is UL94-V0 rated as of 3 mm thickness, and provides improved optical clarity and light transmission.

Typical applications for Exolon® FR sheets include:

• Lighting fixtures in railway vehicles or other modes of public transport

• Electrotechnical components and guards which have to comply with the following fire protection requirements:

  • UL94: Fire protection requirements for the use of plastic materials for parts in devices and applications, for example plastic casings, switches, etc.

  • EN 45545-2 or FAR 25.853: Fulfilment of the fire protection requirements for material use in railway vehicles or in the field of aviation, for example, for lamp covers, linings, etc.

• Any application where improved fire behaviour is needed for fire safe solutions

  DX Cool is an impressive bright, white, translucent solid sheet with a cool and fresh colour impression – even for switched-off LEDs. DX is one of the first diffuser sheets in the LED coverage field and has already delighted many users. DX Cool is the white diffuser sheet with the highest hiding power and has one matte and one glossy surface.

• Exolon® DX Bright
  DX Bright is an opal white, translucent solid sheet with a matte and a glossy surface. Added scattering pigments create a balance between light diffusion and penetrability which is 74% for this type. DX Bright boasts the best balance between light transmission and hotspot lamination.

• Exolon® DX High
  DX High is another opal white, translucent solid sheet with a matte and bright surface. Special diffusion material ensures lower light diffusion than in the DX Bright. Yet it also boasts more targeted lighting and increased translucence of 84%. DX High is the most efficient of our white diffuser sheets with respect to light transmission with sufficient coverage.
