Gridd 70 at 2.75" (70mm) is the highest height option of the Gridd system. The Gridd 70 system has a load capacity of 2,000lbs - 100 PSF. Intense cable distribution requirements may best be served with Gridd 70. Gridd 70 has longer ramps (1:12 slopeis 33″, 1:20 is 55″). Gridd Power is compatible with Gridd 70.
Choose the Gridd 70 system for your project.
The Gridd 70 Reinforced system offers the same benefits of the standard Gridd 70 system but is reinforced to accommodate “heavy" floor load conditions as by the International Building Code (IBC). The reinforced system is often used in high traffic areas such as museums, airports, and other public spaces. The Gridd 70 Reinforced system has an increase load capacity from the standard Gridd 70 system (3,000lbs -250PSF).
For projects with a heavier load, choose the Gridd 70 Reinforced System.
For over 25 years FreeAxez has pioneered the access floor industry by simplifying the flexible work environment in a broad range of spaces including offices, laboratories, broadcast studios, airports, control rooms, etc., around the world. FreeAxez' patented flagship product, Gridd®, provides buildings the flexibility to route and hide all information cables in a modular, low-profile, all-steel structure right under their feet. This tool-free installation can also distribute electrical energy using Gridd Power® - a modular 50-amp electrical power bus system. Utilizing the Gridd Mobile® augmented reality app, technicians and facility teams can view cable layouts through the flooring, allowing for quick and efficient reconfiguration.
Gridd is: Made in the USA, UL listed in the US & Canada, GreenSpec listed, and meets the requirements of IAPMO Uniform ES, ASHRAE 90.1, USGBC, the IBC, ASTM E84, and ISO9001:2015. FreeAxez provides complete design assistance with installation plans for Gridd, Gridd Power, and cable infrastructure.
