Cranes
Gorbel® Work Station Cranes are a proven way to improve productivity, increase quality, and provide a safer work environment. Both the aluminum and steel Gorbel Workstation Crane Systems utilize enclosed track that is high in strength and low in weight.

Free Standing floor supported systems do not put stress on the building's overhead structure. Installation is usually more straight forward, and these cranes are also easier to relocate in the future. Free Standing systems require a reinforced concrete floor of at least 6 inches.

With Ceiling Mounted Systems, supporting steel does not interfere with the handling operation. Ceiling Mounted Systems require a building with an adequate overhead structure to hang the crane.

Hybrid Workstation Cranes are an extension of Gorbel®'s work station crane line. Hybrid Cranes utilize the strength and longevity of patented track with the light weight advantages of Gorbel®'s aluminum enclosed track bridges. Utilizing these two features together allows for greater installation flexibility to meet longer support centers. The remote mount slide handle offers the same smooth control as the slide handle, but accommodates set-ups where the operators can't be close to the load.
Fall Protection
A Fall Arrest System is an active means of protecting workers from injury due to falls. A complete personal fall arrest system includes an anchor, a body harness and a connector- such as a shock-absorbing fall arrest lanyard or self-retracting lanyard (SRL).
Using a Gorbel Tether Track™ Rigid Rail Fall Arrest System as your anchor provides workers with a high degree of mobility and freedom, while preventing falls to lower levels. Standard systems are designed to accommodate multiple workers, each weighing up to 310 pounds with tools.
Gorbel Tether Track™ Rigid Rail Fall Arrest Systems provide a reliable and cost-effective solution for reducing the risk of injury in elevated work environments. Available in various configurations, including multiple track profiles and support center distances, fall protection can be easily customized to fit every budget and application. All systems are designed by qualified engineers to meet the OSHA 1926 Subpart M construction standard, as well as the ANSI Z359 Fall Protection code.
CEILING MOUNTED SYSTEMS use the structure for support, as the rail is mounted either perpendicular or parallel to the ceiling beams. Should overhead obstacles be present, drop rod hangers with sway bracing can be supplied so that the system avoids these obstructions.
FREE STANDING SYSTEMS may be preferred whenever floor space is readily available to install column supports, when changes in work practices are anticipated, and when a building structure isn''t available. The flexibility of free standing systems allows them to be easily modified and moved should processes or fall protection needs change.
Multiple bridges can be supplied for both ceiling mounted and free standing systems, thus allowing multiple workers to utilize the system simultaneously.
Free standing cantilevered monorails are available in heights up to 26 feet to effectively protect workers maintaining, inspecting, or loading/unloading railcars, tankers or flatbed trucks.

When floor space is at a premium, ceiling mounted monorails can provide unparalleled fall protection while maintaining an open floor plan for material handling, production, or related activities. Ceiling mounted monorails use existing support steel for overall anchorage strength, and are ideal for production facilities and warehouses with tall ceilings since column support is not needed. Even if the facility has standard ceiling heights, the compact, low-profile design of ceiling mounted monorails provides full protection without headroom concerns.
The concept of a Fold-Away Fall Arrest System is simple: Deploy it when you need it, and fold it back when you''re done, maintaining productivity without compromising safety. The Tether Track'' Fold Away Fall Arrest System is the perfect solution for work cells requiring access to overhead cranes, when valuable floor space is limited, or when infrequent fall protection is necessary.
The Tether Track portable fall arrest gantry is ideal for applications where a permanent solution is not possible. It allows for single or multiple users to complete their required tasks, and can then be moved out of the way when not needed. The square tubing uprights, knee braces, and channel base allow for stable movement, while the Tether Track trolley rolls smoothly on an enclosed track flush mounted beneath the beam.
When numerous obstacles exist in the work space and standard multiple-column systems are not practical, single pole fall protection systems provide a convenient alternative. Used regularly in tank car servicing or heavy-duty truck securing and tarping areas, single pole systems require only a single foundation. Standard span lengths from 10' to 53' mean the system can be designed to meet the requirements of most loading/unloading and maintenance facilities.

Warehouse Solutions
With proven productivity gains that not only reduce unload time, but also reduce or eliminate demurrage charges, standby charges and drop trailer charges, the Destuff-it can also reduce the number of doors needed for the unload operation with more trailer turns per door. The robust construction of each Destuff-it make it an ideal unloader for multi-shift operations.
Typically, companies who start using a Destuff-it machine over their usual step-stool method see a reduction in unload times of 50%. The total man hours required to unload a trailer are reduced by a similar amount. While the case rate will vary due to box size & weight, it is typically in excess of 800 boxes per hour. In addition, the unit can be connected to an auto palletizer for even higher case rates and further labor reductions.
When in unload mode, the Restuff-it is capable of achieving similar results to the Destuff-it. It is capable of reducing unload times as well as demurrage charges, standby charges and drop trailer charges. The Restuff-it can reduce the number of doors needed for the unload operation by enabling more trailer turns per door.
In loading mode, the ergonomic benefits of the Restuff-it are realized by using the operator platform to lift the worker to the proper position relative to the box wall. In addition to this ergonomic benefit, by increasing the accessibility to the top of the container, many users also realize an increase in cube utilization.
