They can also reduce the time and labor needed to install a metal jacketing system.
Stainless Steel Sure-Fit Insulation Elbow Covers are made in two, precision-formed matching halves and are sized to cover and weatherproof insulated 90° and 45° elbows along pipelines. They are manufactured from Type-316 Stainless Steel in .016" thickness. They can be used on long and short radius, butt weld, socket weld, and screwed pipe elbows from 1/2" to 10" Iron Pipe Size, inclusive.
Ultrolon® jacketing is Kynar 500-based polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) coated aluminum. It is most commonly used in chemical plants, petrochemical plants and refineries. Ultrolon is ideal for applications where resistance to all forms of chemical abuse is required. Ultrolon can be an excellent alternative for applications where stainless steel is not recommended.
Galvalume® roll jacketing is manufactured from low carbon cold rolled steel that has a continuous hot dipped aluminum-zinc alloy coating applied to the outer surfaces for resistance to corrosion. The special coating is composed of 55% aluminum, 1.6% silicon, and 43.4% zinc. The finished sheet has yield strength of 38,000-53,000 psi, a tensile strength of 50,000-65,000 psi, 20-36% elongation, and a hardness of 50-65 HRB.
Saranex® CX Vapor Retarder Tape products are composed of SARANEX CX Vapor Retarder Film coated with an acrylic adhesive designed for effective and long-lasting adhesion to a variety of substrates over a wide temperature range. SARANEX CX Tape products conform easily to fittings, elbows, and joints, protecting these vulnerable areas from moisture intrusion and energy loss.
