For areas that produce large tornadoes, and where the risk of your building being hit with debris is high, you need a thoroughly tested and impact resistant skylight solution. Our polycarbonate F5 / High Velocity Wind Zone (HVWZ) skylights are designed to be installed in areas with extreme conditions. While the systems have been tested to 1,600 lbs of total load, they also provide excellent light transmission and solar heat gain performance.

Our monolithic acrylic skylights are designed for residential properties to maximize the level of natural light entering the space. Manufactured using light weight and shatterproof acrylic glazing (CC-2 Classified) with an aluminum frame, they're available in a wide variety of sizes and can be fitted with either an electric or manual opening mechanism. All models come with built in insect screens and full perimeter gasketing around the base.

LiteBrow suspended canopy systems are a pre-engineered attached canopy system designed to withstand combined loads of up to +/- 120 psf. When a fire reaches in excess of 500 degrees F, the domes are designed to automatically drop out, allowing for hot gases and smoke to exit the building. In some cases, units can also be equipped with a fusible link that causes the domes to drop out when a certain temperature is achieved. Systems can also be used in conjunction with a facility's fire suppression system.

The Brighten Up Series offers two different tubular daylighting devices (160 DS and 290 DS, 10"- and 14"-wide tubes, respectively, with lengths up to 30') to fit different applications and space sizes and fill them with natural light.

Series 5300 galvanized steel external safety cages attach to multiple types of skylight frames and provide a level of protection for those with access to roof spaces. Rooftop hatches, scuttle hatches and stairway hatches all have one thing in common - on flat roofs they represent a significant fall hazard when left open. Series 5600 roof hatch guards are designed for protection, with self-closing gates and standard safety yellow powder coat finish. They're also compression-fit to the curb, requiring no penetration of the roof membrane or hatch.

These warning line systems, designed for demarcation of hazardous areas, are built for the toughest environments and feature cast iron bases, steel stanchions, and plastic-coated galvanized cable with aluminum pennants. The minimum OSHA requirement for warning line systems is that they be 15' feet or more away from a leading edge. Any closer and fall protection railings or similar devices must be provided.
