Our concealed hinges, closers and flush panic devices combine for a streamlined integrated door system that facilitates movement through demanding environments while creating an attractive design element consistent with its surroundings.
Total Door Systems offer unparalleled security. Our full-height locking channel acts as a 5/8" deadbolt along the full length of the door and eliminates vertical rods, floor hardware, coordinators, astragals and flush bolts on pairs and double-egress fire doors. Our door systems also have the lowest smoke migration rating in the market, which is accomplished without the need of intumescent seals.

Hardware and Lite Kits
Our exclusive flush exit device looks and works better than anything else in the industry. Its 1/8″ projection with the door in the open position makes it virtually flush with the door face. When closed, the exit device pops out to 5/8″ to meet all fire codes and ADA guidelines.
Our exit devices look better too, because we can insert a finish that matches the rest of your door, such as a custom wood veneer, to give you a distinctive look that lasts.
Our standard exit device is also an industry leader, with a projection of only 1-5/16″. This reduces the potential for abuse and makes it possible to achieve a 32″ clear width in a 36″ opening.
The standard exit device comes in a standard width of 24″ but can also be ordered to match the full width of the door. We also offer a smaller version (SP14) for non-rated applications that offers the convenience of a push plate.
Our Exit Edge Protector is a good option for high-abuse environments. Made of heavy-duty extruded aluminum, it deflects objects like laundry and food carts from the back edge of the exit device. This reduces damage to the exit device and lowers maintenance costs.
Total Door grips are installed at the factory. That means they arrive on-site ready to install, with no field labor required. Their elegant engineering and simple design make them resistant to abuse and forced entry.
They are ideal for designs that demand form as well as function, and for demanding environments like schools and hospitals.

Continuing Education
The role of a fire rated door is to maintain the integrity of a fire rated enclosure in the event of a fire, giving building occupants enough time to exit the burning building. This course is an introduction to fire rated doors and a general review of the fire codes that relate to fire doors and hardware, referencing IBC 2012, 2015, and 2018, NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) regulations, and the ADAAG (Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines).
The spread of smoke in mid- and high-rise building fires is recognized as a major threat to the safety of the building occupants and responding fire personnel and the effectiveness of firefighting operations. This course explains how smoke migrates in a multi-story building fire and discusses how building codes have evolved to address this danger and why they mandate smoke containment in specific areas of a structure. Product applications and assemblies designed to meet building code requirements and limit vertical smoke migration via elevator hoistways and lobbies are examined.
Learn about integrated door systems, sustainability, compliance, and code. Understand the importance of smoke and fire protection in various applications and vertical markets and how with the proper protection from integrated door systems you can save lives.
