K-Trade Rigid Core can be floated over most existing hard floors with minimal subfloor preparation and no need for adhesive. Select rigid core in upper levels to reduce sound transfer by 25dB, over subfloors prone to moisture (up to 95% RH), over uneven subfloors, and in areas where there is light to moderate foot traffic.
